Soon after reading the first book by duckbill hOle, the other 3 books just seem to be calling out to us even more. So we jumped right back into the books and went right through another hOle.
The Vampire Boy, by Sharanya Deepak is not anything like the twilight saga. This tale is about a young vampire Kris, who faced with the dilemma of attending a normal school with humans. With most of the kids terrified of him, this nature loving, calm, little out of the world, blood hating vampire soon makes friends and then theres no stopping to their fun and adventure.
The next adventure came from Maya Saves The Day by Meera Nair. This book having 3 short stories plays high on the emotions of young readers as Maya balances to be a good child to her parents and a responsible sister to her younger sibling. Mayas daily adventure is what will keep young readers of today so spellbound.
And the final book (oh no not so soon), Trouble With Magic by Asha Nehemiah, is a fascinating tale about young Veena whose mind is always buzzing with crazy ideas to help her aunt Malu’s herbal medicine business. Though most of the times Veenas ideas give Aunt Malu a hard time, ultimately, it was one of her innovative ideas that saves Aunt Malu’s business from running into losses.
Each book was simple yet unique, interesting and surely tapped on our imagination. These books are perfect for light reading for our young adventure seekers as the plot is simply captivating and complimented with charming illustrations.
