Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years and is known to make you physically and mentally fit. If practiced during pregnancy it increases strength, relieves aches and pains, opens pelvic cavity for child birth and relieves anxiety.

Having gone through 2 deliveries myself and being a yoga student for the last 4 years I would recommend all moms to be to practice it but under guided supervision. It is very important to get a good teacher who not only understands the yoga practice but also understands the various symptoms and impacts of asanas on a mother to be's body.
