The Susu Pals
The susu pals is a cute story of Rhea and Dia who do everything together. (including pee) This cute friendship was going to last forever. Until Isha enters. She befriends Dia and poor Rhea gets left out of everything. Rhea is not so happy spending time along while Dia is enjoying with her new friend. Soon Dia too finds Isha’s company boring and starts missing her old pal rhea. The two bffs patch up with a game of tennis and matching chaddis. But wait… there comes Shiva who loves to play with the two girls! Now the three of them are best pals forever!
This story sure teaches our kids about the value of good friends and that true friendship can face the most ferocious storms and still survive. The amazingly cute illustrations by Alicia Souza fully captures the essence of the story. I'm sure the kids will enjoy all the little things about susu pals, matching chaddis and that one favourite friend they always seem to get back to. Catch the trailer of the book here:
The Unboy boy
The unboy boy is the story of Gagan who unlike his brother finds “guy” things like hitting and playing rough with others boring. He likes to be different and is more interested in reading and nature. Everyone around him calls him a sissy or a chooha and tries to make him into more of a boy. This really hurts Gagan, making him feel lonely and scared but his mother assures him that he is the best boy she could have! Peoples perspective on Gagan changes after he rescues Chitras cat that runs off during summer camp. While everyone else ran away trembling the brave Gagan saved the cat from the stairs. So Gagan saved the day and now no one dares to call him a sissy.
The story brings out an important lesson that each child is different and special. Opinions from other people should not hinder their true personality! After all everyone is born a star!
