Whenever I get an opportunity to bash button batteries, I don't miss it. I think it is high time we ban toys with button batteries. Doctors in major city hospitals see at least one incident a week where a child is brought for swallowing a button battery. I would have lost my nephew hadn't we found in time that he put a button battery inside his nose. Once ingested this horrible thing corrodes and eats into the stomach lining causing fatal internal bleeding. That is why toys with button batteries top the list of things you should never ever gift children.

The biggest problem with musical toys is that kids love it and parents hate it. Toys with no switch to turn off the music!

Planning to gift your friend’s child a small fish bowl? or love birds? You may want to rethink unless you want that friendship to go down the drain! Caring for kids itself is huge work and no one would really want to add more to it unless they adore pets (something we never know for sure). Moreover, not every child would be able to handle it if something unfortunate happens to a pet under their care. So, it is better not to risk it.
