Darshana is the co-founder of Papagoya - India’s first Scandinavian Kindergarten in Bangalore. She and her co-founder Helen Issar are creating a paradigm shift in how children in India learn during early childhood. A true believer of the philosophy that children learn best by playing, she sees childhood not just as a phase of life, rather the foundation for a secure and joyful adulthood. Darshana is back in India with her learnings from 60+ countries in the 15 years she spent amongst global corporates. She is known to the children in her global family as their super-aunt ‘Dasho’, a title she holds dear to her heart.

Tarun Sakhrani

Tarun Sakhrani is an investment banker by profession (by day... and sometimes by night as well).  He works on the capital markets desk and has spent several years as a banker in Chicago and Singapore.  Besides his day job, Tarun is an avid foodie with a love of trying new cuisines restaurants... and umm... wines to go with all that delicious food.  He also enjoys writing in his spare time, and after blogging for himself for many years was invited to contribute to the Huffington Post in 2012.  In May 2016 Tarun added another feather to his cap when he was promoted to the role of a proud father, thrilled by the arrival of his first born Kian. Tarun now lives in London with his wife Kathleen and son Kian.

Bhatia currently spearheads UurmiMehul Photography as Creative Head alongside her husband Mehul Bhatia. She founded a brand namely the Learning Room that has a refreshing blend of products that encourages curiosity, enhances soft skills and eases through the basics for young children. She has over 16 years of experience in the design industry, is an active reiki practitioner and an avid writer of her experiences.

What do you get when you mix blue with red, or the sky with sand, or simply left with right? Madhumita Nandi Srivastava's response would be miles away from what you would normally expect. After all, with a Masters in Architecture from the University of Michigan, followed by a Masters in Fine Art (Design and Technology), with a specialization in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics from the Parsons, New York, her ideas are fresh and kept alive by a passion for teaching. Madhumita currently teaches at the Ecole Intuit Lab, where she helps students shape their ideas into viable projects. She has conducted art workshops for children at the Prince of Wales Museum, Bhau Daji Lad Museum, The Celebrate Bandra Festival, Kahani Karnival, Ecole Mondiale School, and many more. She is the co founder of the Flying Tricycle art workshops.

Pridhee Kapoor Gupta is a trained molecular biologist and the mother to two beautiful girls. She is also the founder of T4Tales which publishes books for 0-6-year-olds in Indian languages. Prior to becoming a mother, she worked as a scientific officer at Macquarie University, Sydney. In her journey of parenthood predominantly outside of India, she quickly realised that there were not enough books in her own mother tongue, Hindi, that would engage her little one as there were in English. So, she set about correcting this imbalance through her Hindi lift-the-flap and pull-tab board book, Das din and pop up with music book, Gol Mol Bol. She loves collecting children books and preparing craft activities for her daughters and is a big Bollywood and fitness enthusiast. Born and brought up in Bahrain, completed her PhD in Germany and tried out life in USA, India, and Australia, Pridhee is now comfortably settled in Singapore.
