The Green Bazaar is a monthly weekend market that celebrates earth-friendly living. From organic wholesome food and chemical-free household utilities to handmade native crafts, eco-friendly toys and recycled goodies, the fair brings under one roof, a variety of sustainable products to power everyday living. The Bazaar also features DIY workshops, a dedicated children’s corner, panel discussions and more for citizens to engage with conscious ways of living.Â
The Green Bazaar is brought together by The Alternative, a media platform for sustainable living and social impact.
Children’s Festival Special Consists of the following:
- Kids storytelling: A festival of stories – Make your own festival folk tales with all your favourite mythological and real characters, with Vikram Sridhar of Tahatto. Oct 5th, Saturday, 4 pm. Free workshop.
- Make your own colourful festive Diya – Workshop for kids by Kitschdii. Oct 5th and 6th, 3 pm. Fee: Rs. 150/- per activity (includes all materials and take back packing).
- Convert your food waste into rich black gold! An interactive session by Vani Murthy and the We Care For Malleswaram team on the basics of composting and using your manure in the garden. Oct 6th, Sunday, 12 pm. Free workshop.
And a children’s tattoo corner and face painting, food stalls and more
