Theatre Workshops For Children
The basic objective of the theatre workshops is to help participants lose their inhibitions, understand performance and team work, be able to improvise and think quickly, as well as the overall development of the individual. All workshops will be facilitated by Faezeh Jalali.
Stories On A Page, Come Alive On Stage! (Ages 7-9)
West Room 1 | 10 – 11.15 am
October 6-7 and 13-14
The workshop will bring alive, for children, their favourite stories and also encourage them to create their own. Participants will craft characters, situations and scenes from stories using their bodies and voices, and of course their unlimited imaginations! This is a fun, quirky, whacky workshop that will allow children to unleash their ideas and perform them through exploration and creation without boundaries.
Fee: Rs 3,500
 
Hilarious, Delirious, Priceless, Humorous You! – Improvisation, clowning and other fun stuff (Ages 10 – 13)
West Room 1 | 11.30 am – 1 pm

Participants will learn to shed their inhibitions, find their quirky side, be creative and have a whole lot of fun, laughing, and making others laugh. Using the basics of improvisation techniques, clowning and movement, participants will have a blast discovering their hilarious side. Come, be seriously funny!

About the Workshop Facilitator
Faezeh Jalali is an actor, director and teacher with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville), USA. She graduated magna cum lauda from Beloit College, USA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre (Acting and Directing). She currently teaches drama at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai
