“Mumma- why do we celebrate Diwali?”

“Why do we light sooo many lamps?”

If you are clueless about these questions your kids ask, or are tied up to answer them, we’ve got it covered with a creative puppet show video on Ramayana that your kids will want to

Why Is Mythology Important?

Myths and legends provide a basis for moral boundaries and establish the basic guidelines for the way people within a society should live. The more we learn about myths from around the world, the more we find that many cultures have similar stories.

Another reason mythology plays an important role in our lives is because it becomes a foundation for a lot of religions that are practised. Most myths are stories that tell us about battles between good and evil (& how good will always triumph). Every religion has stories like that, both ancient and modern.

Why Is Mythology Important For Kids?

Kids love fairytales, magic and anything that can get those brain engines churning. So, why not introduce them to mythology. They are tales that have imbibed in them many values and ethics that if explained well, kids would immediately pick up.

These stories are still relevant and will always be. Beacuse they give a sense of direction and a clear distinction between right and wrong. (just minus the boring concepts and gyaan and add in some epic wars and so much drama!)

If you want to teach your kids the right way to live and to be a good human being… mythological stories could be one of the best ways!

Here’s a whole course that teaches kids the relevance of mythology in today’s modern day and age. It’s simple, it’s important and most importantly, it’s interesting and informative.

Has the puppet show helped? Share it with other parents too! Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali!
