Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar launched her book Pregnancy Notes – Before, During and After’ in Mumbai a couple of days ago.  We had a chance to catch up with Kareena Kapoor who was there to release the book and support her friend and nutritionist.

Kareena started going to Rujuta for advice long before she actually got pregnant. Staying fit before, during and after the pregnancy is the mantra that Kareena followed.  Rujuta’s advice to all to be moms/new moms is that the eating should be comprehensive and not with the aim to lose weight as soon as possible. Kareena completely endorses that view and if you’ve seen her weight loss, it has been gradual and she’s glowing and looking extremely fit. She talks about the importance of staying fit even before getting pregnant, what her diet was like during pregnancy and what she is doing now to lose weight.
