Looking for a fun snack that can travel through the day with you? Then a good, healthy trail mix is what you are looking for!

Trail mix is a snack that can take on any shape or form! Make it healthy, make it decadent, make it with whatever you have on hand. So easy and yet so versatile!

The recipe that we have is a  combination of grains, dry fruit, and a few treats to surprise the children. It is extremely healthy and a quick fix for when you are on the go. This super easy recipe takes 2 minutes to make. All you need are some grains, dry fruits, and a few treats. Mix them all together in a mason jar and there you have it, your own trail mix!

Trail Mix 1

What you need:

  • A bowl of walnuts
  • A bowl of dry blueberries
  • A few assorted cashews
  • Some sunflower seeds
  • Don’t forget your kids favourite cereal which is the treat
  • Mason jar

Trail Mix 2

What you need:

  • A bowl of chocolate chips as the treat
  • A few almonds
  • Some pistachios
  • Some watermelon seeds
  • A few dry cranberries
