This ceremony has the Border Security forces of India and Pakistan march in unison and display a show of strength and valour as they throw open the gates and the flags on either side of the borders are lowered at the same time. The flags are folded and the soldiers on either side shake hands brusquely as the gates are closed again.

This was really special to watch especially with loud patriotic cries of Vande Mataram and Jai Hind! We also got to speak to the DIG BSF on living away from family, what it means to protect the country and important lessons every Indian child should learn.
