Rati is a true manifestation of an urban nomad. She has lived and learned in India, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and the USA. She began her career as a journalist with NDTV and then moved to the USA where she worked with the Houston Arts Alliance as an amateur folklorist. A few years later, she wrote and published short stories in anthologies and wrote on bringing up her kids for Scroll.in.
